Road conditions are not the same every day. With the new traction select system, you can choose the mode to match the driving conditions. There are four modes on each model: Tour, Sport, Terrain (on 4WD models), Snow (on 2WD models), and Tow/Haul. Each mode makes adjustments to the StabiliTrak system and transmission shift points to deliver the optimal performance.

Keep control of your trailer at your fingertips with the available trailer brake controller. Use the in-vehicle trailer app to specify various trailer brake settings for your different trailers.

This available camera system adds two rear-facing cameras to help you tow with more confidence. The cameras help you see down the sides of your truck and trailer when you are changing lanes or backing up. An additional trailer-mounted camera is available to see what is behind the trailer, too.

You spend some time getting the hitch to line up with the trailer only to have your truck roll out of alignment when you shift into park. With the available Electronic Parking Brake, you won't have to worry about this happening again. It will automatically engage whenever you shift into park.

The 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 has advanced technologies that will help you manage your towing as well as your communications. Its cabin is equipped with the GMC Infotainment System on an 8-inch touchscreen, which lets you pull up directions to your next worksite through the available Advanced Navigation, or check your emails with the available 4G Wi-Fi® hotspot. Standard Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ technology lets you sync compatible smartphones for easy access to apps, media, and contacts. The same touchscreen displays clear views of the rear of the Sierra 1500 with the Rear Vision Camera System with available Hitch Guidance, perfect for reversing while towing. An available Trailering Camera Package provides additional visibility around the trailer.

This model's maximum towing capacity is 12,200 pounds, made possible by the available 6.2-liter V8 and the Max Trailering Package. In the truck bed, the Sierra 1500 can haul a payload of up to 2,240 pounds, enough to carry lumber, tools, and everything else you need to get the job done right.

The innovative GMC MultiPro Tailgate is designed with a primary gate and an inner gate, as well as an additional panel, providing multiple configurations that enhance its versatility. Two different load stops let you secure longer cargo in the bed, while an easy-access configuration lets you stand closer to the bed while you're working. The MultiPro Tailgate also features a wide step, as well as a workbench setting that provides you with a comfortable surface area perfect for filling out paperwork or eating a standing lunch.
